The level of heat can vary depending on the cheesemaker, but it typically delivers a satisfying warmth with a lingering spicy finish. Applewood Smoked Cheddar offers a distinctive flavor profile that combines the classic tanginess of cheddar with a smoky undertone. The cheese is typically firm with a smooth, creamy texture. The smoky flavor is prominent, reminiscent of applewood, adding a depth and complexity to the traditional cheddar taste. This variety has been aged for approximately 4-8 months and smoked over REAL apple wood giving the cheese a robust, sweet, and slightly smokey flavor.

These cheeses are made according to strict standards, preserving the traditional cheesemaking techniques that ensure beneficial enzymes and nutrients remain intact. This approach contrasts sharply with industrial cheese production, which often sacrifices quality and nutritional value for mass production.

While the initial supply is limited to a certain number of boxes per week, we are increasing production overtime without compromising quality. Instead of pushing farms to become industrial complexes, the goal is to increase the number of small-scale producers involved in the project.
