Mozzarella embodies the pure essence of traditional Italian cheesemaking. This fresh, artisanal cheese offers a delicate milky flavor and that coveted stretchy texture that only comes from skilled handcrafting. Unlike its processed counterparts, raw mozzarella presents subtle complexity and a clean, fresh-dairy finish that makes it perfect for both cooking and enjoying on its own.
Swiss cheese is known for its mild, sweet, and nutty flavor. It has a creamy texture and a slightly buttery taste. The characteristic holes, or "eyes," contribute to its unique appearance but do not significantly impact the flavor. Overall, Swiss cheese is a versatile and approachable cheese with a pleasant, clean taste!
Havarti cheese is known for its buttery, mild, and slightly sweet flavor. It has a creamy, smooth texture that melts effortlessly. While young Havarti is relatively mild, aged varieties can develop a slightly tangy or nutty character. Overall, it's a versatile cheese with a pleasant, approachable taste.
Gouda Cheese offers a delightful balance of sweet and savory flavors. Its taste is typically described as nutty and creamy, and as it ages, Gouda develops a more pronounced tangy and complex flavor profile. The texture is smooth and buttery when young, gradually becoming firmer and crumblier with age.
These cheeses are made according to strict standards, preserving the traditional cheesemaking techniques that ensure beneficial enzymes and nutrients remain intact. This approach contrasts sharply with industrial cheese production, which often sacrifices quality and nutritional value for mass production.
While the initial supply is limited to a certain number of boxes per week, we are increasing production overtime without compromising quality. Instead of pushing farms to become industrial complexes, the goal is to increase the number of small-scale producers involved in the project.
